In their fourth record, Al-jiçç brings forth lost songs, shelved between 2007 and 2011, now harmonized, reorganized, recontextualized. Keeping Sephardic melodies as their main influence, ٤ has songs that are more direct and energic, drawing inspiration from Ethio-jazz to rock, from klezmer to northern Africa.
